In many ways, 2024 has been my worst year in a long time. It feels strange to say that, especially since some of my closest relationships are going strong—some even stronger than before. I have my health, and I've met some amazing people this year in the gay porn industry.
But my day job has been a disaster. I’ve been out of work for almost half the year, which has caused a lot of financial stress. I love my little photography side hustle, but I fully admit that what little I do make doesn't come close to covering the expenses needed to do it properly.
As I write this, I’m taking antibiotics for strep throat. I’ve had to cancel parts or all of my last two photo shoots for various reasons. And my goals and plans for the year haven’t been accomplished at all.
That being said, I’ve decided to take some time off from photography and video content creation.
What’s Next
If you had asked me a week ago, when family friends were going through the darkest of times with their son, I would have said I was going to quit. I was ready to stop everything and leave it all behind—never to come back. But after reflecting this week, I realized I would hate to say goodbye to the relationships I’ve built through this fun, creative hobby. So, I’m coming back.
My current plan is to release my final three scenes before the end of December. I’ll also make an announcement encouraging all subscribers to cancel their memberships by the end of December. I’ll be completely quiet in January except for social media, start filming again in February, and then return to regular posting in March.
This year, I experimented with trans porn and tried some other types of content but moving forward I am sticking to boys, bros and dads. I’ve been struggling internally for a while about what kind of content I truly want to create. I’ve finally figured it out, and I’ll be rolling it out in March.
